"Do What You Love To Do"

The world lost an amazing man yesterday: Steve Jobs.
Here is a man who is a true inspiration. A man that followed a vision, and went after his dreams. How could you not be inspired by that?

He said in a commencement, that you need to "do what you love to do," I fully believe in that. That's why I write. I feel like I can make a difference with the Written Words I write down.

Everyone has something to offer in life...and writing and teaching children is my offer.

People like Steve fight for life - and I don't know what's more inspiring than that. They don't let obstacles or life's barriers hold them down, even if that ultimately means death. They leave a mark on this life and change people because of that mark.

That's what I hope to do with my life. I want to make a difference.

RIP Steve Jobs - thank you for the great message.
I'm not going to waste anymore time. I'm not going to let other people tell me "I can't." Because they're wrong. I can & I will

Doing what you love to do makes all the difference when you wake up in the morning. Even if I don't become a published author, I'm writing, and that's what I love to do. I love meeting other writers as well. I'm joining other critique groups, and I must say I'm thrilled for the opportunity to get to know all of you so much better (especially after my last post).

This is where I want to be. This is what I want to be doing.

This is my life and I'm going to start living it.

  1. So so true! Too often we get caught up in what we aren't doing that we miss the joy around us! I struggle with this myself...I want to remember to enjoy writing first! Then worry about publishing...because too much time spent not writing and worrying about publishing is too time wasting!

  2. So very true. You have to believe in yourself and just go after your passion.

He was such a visionary and incredibly inspiring man. We can all learn a lot from him.
