Springtime

Happy First Day of Spring!!
Spring is my favorite season!! It's also my favorite time because I love, love, love to write outside and read of course. I love when the weather starts getting nicer, because I love to write at Sugar House Park next to this little stream. It's so peaceful and I can write/read there for hours. It's like my own little world.
I feel inspired to write more I think in the springtime, it's weird. Even on the rainy days, I just find beauty all around and that can help you write beautiful words.
How can you not be inspired when you see that type of beauty? I feel like I gain more ideas, fresh ideas, not the same-old-boring-ones, that are leftover from winter.
I feel like this saying can really apply to writing as well.
  • Rebirth
  • Renewal
  • Regrowth
It's like planting a seed and you're watching it grow, isn't that the same with writing and creative ideas? Plus so much time has gone by, you can start looking back at your writing, and make it better (editing). There is always growth to be done, but with new pictures and scenes all around, the possibilities are endless.

xo.

  2. Thanks for sharing the beautiful pictures!

I am really a snow and ice girl (strange, I know...), but this has put me in a mindset to be optimistic about fresh starts and new ideas. :) Great post!

  3. Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter I love them all. There is always somethings new and wonderful about each season. The freshness and bright colours of spring, the lazy feeling of summer, the mellow wind down of autumn and the crisp winter air. Each season has its own magic and as I have only recently picked up the writing bug I am excited to see how each season affects my creations.

I love the gorgeous pictures as always, some great shots of my favourite flower :-) Thanks for the inspiration!
