Where There are Words, There is Magic

What do you feel when you write? Do you picture power behind those words? Because I do. I feel as though I am a Creator who has the power to create anything I want. What isn't appealing about that?

I think that's why I've always been into writing, especially fiction. I love creating. That's no surprise, that's how I've been since I was a little girl. I feel like you are unstoppable and there is a certain kind of beauty in that.

The Written Word is something that can change lives...that's what I'm trying to do. I knew how powerful books were when I was younger; it was the foundation to learning and in my case, dreams. I want to open that portal to children, teens, young adults, and adults. I want them to feel the emotions I feel in a good book. I want them to laugh, cry, smile, get angry, and fall in love with my characters, the situations, and the story as a whole.

Words can become things, it's the way you write that brings that type of magic to life. If you are passionate about it, one simple words can be the missing link you've been waiting for.

I know that's what happened with me.

I feel the way the charters laugh and cry and am trying to put on paper the picture I drew. I love that kind of power and find it hard at times to leave it. You're absolutely right.

  12. I'm a huge advocate of the written word. Honestly, there's nothing more beautiful than a scene that is set with words.

You're giving me the itch to go out in the middle of nowhere and start writing again. (Living in the city makes it hard to do that...man, I miss Rexburg, ID at times like these!)

Fantastic blog! Keep up the good work!
